Strarting from scratch

For the past  two weeks for maths we have been crating and coding on scratch. For us to make the shape we had to have the correct rotation and the correct angle so it would make a perfect shape. We also had to create random code and predict what it would make. Have you ever created on scratch before?

Maths

Today for maths we had to enlarge a shape the black one we had to enlarge twice and the green ones we had to enlarge three times.

Native bird facts

For CRT we did a kahoot a bout native New Zealand birds. But first before  we did the kahoot we got into buddies and made four questions for the kahoot. My buddy an I did our questions about the fantail and the yellowed eyed penguin. The fact that interested me the most was that the yellowed eyed penguins feet turn pink when they exercise.

Life cycle of an axolotl

The life cycle of an axolotl also known as the Mexican walking fish begins when the female axolotl lays eggs. These eggs are translucent and jelly-like and are laid in fresh bodies of water such as lakes and ponds. Female axolotl can lay 400-1000 eggs at a time.

After a few weeks the eggs hatch giving birth to tiny axolotl larvae. These larvae are no bigger than a centimeter and resemble adult axolotls. They have gills that are feathery like. The gills serve a vital purpose because they allow axolotl larvae to breathe underwater and ensuring their survival in the aquatic environment.

As they grow axolotl develop limbs and a tail. However unlike other amphibians axolotls do not undergo metamorphosis instead they retain their aquatic features and throw their lives which means they stay in the water their whole lives and don’t go onto land as adults unlike other amphibians.

One of the most astounding things about an axolotl is that they can regrow parts of their body Such as limbs and even parts of important organs like their heart and their brain.

So in conclusion, axolotls have one of the most intriguing and remarkable life cycles.

Maths Geometry

Today for Maths we had to make a shape the has mirror symmetry , slide symmetry , rotational symmetry and line of symmetry.

Cybersmart task

Today for cybersmart we learnt how to react to comments that make you sad or  uncomfortable. On the slide below it shows you how you can send the comment to an adult and they can help you sort it out.

Backwards Poem

This is my backwards that I made. A backwards poem is when you take a charter and make it do something backwards for example, he wears rings on his toes. After you have got your line you turn it into a couplet. A couplet is a when you have two sentences and the last word rhymes. For example he wears rings on his toes and can burn a rose.
